Introduction: The Maternal Mortality Rate in developing countries in the world 2023 reached 346 deaths per 100,000 live births (WHO, 2024). One of the strategic efforts to reduce the risk of pregnancy complications in Indonesia is through Antenatal Care services according to the minimum standard of six visits. However, the national coverage of ANC K6 visits in 2024 only reached 80.12%. In Nganjuk Regency, the coverage of ANC K6 visits in 2024 was 59.69%.. ANC visits are influenced by psychosocial factors such as husband support and maternal perceptions of pregnancy, therefore valid and reliable instruments are needed to accurately measure these constructs..
Objective: This study aimed to examine the validity and reliability of the questionnaire on husband support and maternal perception of pregnancy toward the completeness of Antenatal Care in Nganjuk Regency.
Method: This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design conducted among mothers who had a history of ANC visits in Nganjuk Regency. Data were collected through questionnaire administration and analyzed using the Product Moment validity test and Cronbach Alpha reliability test with the assistance of the SPSS software.
Results: The validity test showed that nine out of ten items in the husband support variable were valid with r values greater than the r table value of 0.3882, while one item was invalid. In the maternal perception of pregnancy variable, all items were declared valid with r values above 0.3882. The Cronbach Alpha value for the husband support variable was 0.848 and for the maternal perception variable was 0.861, indicating good internal consistency.
Conclusion: The husband support and maternal perception of pregnancy questionnaire has good validity and reliability and can be used as a research instrument to measure psychosocial factors related to the completeness of Antenatal Care.
