Author Guidlines

Manuscript Requirements

Submit original research papers that offer new insights in health analysis. Manuscripts must be submitted online through the Scientific Journal of Health Sciences submission system. The corresponding author must confirm the manuscript is not under review elsewhere. Manuscripts that do not follow these rules will not be processed.

Manuscript Structure

  1. Title
    Clear and concise, no more than 15 words.

  2. Author Names and Affiliations
    Include full names (no academic titles), institutions, and emails. One author should be marked as corresponding author.

  3. Abstract, Keywords, and MRBM Classification
    Provide abstracts in both English and Indonesian, max 200 words. Include 3–5 keywords. 

  4. Introduction
    Explain the background, previous research, objectives, and significance of the study.

  5. Methods
    Describe data sources and analysis methods.

  6. Results and Discussion
    Present the findings clearly and briefly. Explain the contribution to the field.

  7. Conclusion
    Summarize main findings and policy implications if any.

  8. References
    List only sources cited in the manuscript.

Writing Format

  • Use A4 paper size, single-sided, single line spacing.

  • Indent new paragraphs by 5 spaces.

  • Use Times New Roman, size 11 font.

  • Manuscript length: 12–15 pages.

  • Top and bottom margins: 1.5 inches.

  • Title: capitalize only first word and proper nouns, font size 14, centered.

  • Subtitles: capitalize first word and proper nouns, font size 11, aligned left.

Tables and Figures

  • Number tables and figures using Arabic numerals (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).

  • Table titles go above; figure titles go below.

  • Include source information below tables/figures if needed.

  • Tables use only horizontal lines, no vertical lines.

Acknowledgment

If any, write acknowledgments as a footnote below the manuscript title.

Subject and Author Index

Provide an index of key terms and authors cited (family name followed by given name).

Citation Style

Cite in text by author’s family name and year:

  • Hill (2001) suggests...

  • (McCain, 1982)

  • (Wagner, 1976; Rhonda, 2009)

Use Mendeley software for reference management if possible.

References

  • Use about 20–25 recent references.

  • Follow APA style strictly.

  • Include only works cited in the text.

Manuscript Submission

  1. Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word via the “Online Submission” tab on our website.

  2. Fill in your bio data (full name, title, institution, contact) during registration.

Final Decision

After peer review, authors will be notified via the system with one of the following outcomes:

  • Accepted without revision

  • Accepted with minor revision

  • Accepted with major revision

  • Rejected
