Focus & Scope

The Scientific Journal of Health Sciences (SJHS) is a peer-reviewed and open-access academic journal that aims to disseminate original research and scholarly reviews in the fields of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Sciences. The journal is published by the Mataram College of Health Sciences in collaboration with the University & College of Health and the Indonesian National Nurses Association (INNA), West Nusa Tenggara Province.

SJHS is committed to publishing high-quality scientific articles that contribute to the development of knowledge, education, practice, and policy in health-related disciplines. We welcome submissions from researchers, academics, and healthcare professionals that are original, innovative, and have not been previously published or are under consideration elsewhere.


Aims and Scope

The Scientific Journal of Health Sciences provides a platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge and clinical practice within the health sector. The journal publishes empirical and theoretical research articles, systematic and narrative reviews, and case studies with strong methodological and academic rigor in the following fields:

Publication Ethics

The journal adheres strictly to the ethical standards for publication set by international guidelines (such as COPE – Committee on Publication Ethics). All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity, quality, and relevance of the publication.


Call for Papers

We invite all researchers, academicians, and practitioners to submit their manuscripts for consideration. SJHS accepts:

  • Original research articles

  • Literature reviews

  • Short communications

  • Case reports relevant to the scope of the journal

All submissions must be written in Indonesia or English, using clear, concise, and academically appropriate language.
